DUI defense
A DUI charge, handled from the first night to the last court date
A DUI arrest starts two cases at once: the criminal charge in court, and a separate fight over your license that runs on its own clock. We take both for one flat fee.
We start with the deadline for the license hearing, then read everything the state has: the stop, the field tests, the breath or blood result, the video from the patrol car and the officer’s camera. Then we tell you plainly what it shows and what your choices are.

What we look at in every DUI
The questions a court will ask, asked first by us.
The reason for the stop
An officer needs a lawful reason to pull you over. If there wasn’t one, the rest of the evidence may not come in.
Field sobriety tests
How they were given, on what ground, in what light, and whether the video matches the report.
The breath or blood result
The machine’s maintenance records, the twenty-minute watch before the test, and how a blood sample was kept.
Refusals and implied consent
A refusal has its own license rules. We handle them alongside the charge.
Drug and prescription DUI
Charges built on an officer’s opinion or a blood panel, not a breath number.
Underage drivers
Lower limits and harder license rules for drivers under 21, with a parent on the call if you like.
Questions about dui defense
Will I lose my license right away?
Often the license is taken at the arrest and you’re given a temporary permit. Whether you keep driving after that depends on the license hearing, which has its own short deadline. We file for it first.
Should I just plead guilty and get it over with?
Not before someone has read the evidence. A plea has effects on your license, insurance and record that can last years. We’ll tell you what a plea would mean before you decide.
What if this isn’t my first DUI?
Repeat charges carry heavier penalties and longer license consequences, and the earlier case matters. A repeat charge has its own flat fee, set in writing before you sign.
